Creative Commons | Partecipa all’indagine dedicata a GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums)

Creative Commons tools are used to facilitate wide dissemination of culture. They communicate the public domain status of content and indicate it may be used for any purpose, free of charge, without copyright permission.

At Creative Commons, we aim to bolster innovative, user-centered solutions that meet concrete needs to encourage better sharing. In the GLAM sector, we want to ensure the CC tools are fit-for-purpose to make cultural heritage available.

To understanding better of the adequacy and practicality of the CC tools, they are conducting a needs assessment to probe the practices, challenges, needs and expectations of GLAMs (and their users).

Be part of the process by taking the survey!

Intended use: This survey will be used by Creative Commons for the purposes of analysis to inform our stewardship plans with respect to Creative Commons tools (CC0 (1.0 Universal) Public Domain Dedication and the Public Domain Mark) with a focus on their understanding and use in the GLAM sector. All results will be treated in confidentiality and, if communicated publicly, released anonymously.

  • “Open access” means no-cost access that allows the public to reuse, adapt and redistribute materials for any purpose, including commercial use.
